Beijing (Gasgoo)- On January 30, Great Wall Motor's TANK brand commenced pre-sales for its new flagship model, the TANK 700 Hi4-T, offering two variants at 468,000 yuan and 508,000 yuan, respectively.

Measuring 5,090mm long, 2,061mm wide, 1,952mm tall, with a 3,000-mm wheelbase, the TANK 700 Hi4-T boasts the striking Bromo Volcano Eye headlights – the world's first rotating cover with 260 LED beads, creating a captivating interplay of mechanics and technology, resembling a cascade of flames erupting from the volcano.

Equipped with the 3.0T Hi4-T technology architecture, the TANK 700 Hi4-T features a high-displacement hybrid powertrain producing 385 kW of combined power and 800 N·m of torque, offering a 0-100 km/h acceleration in just 5 seconds. The vehicle offers 12 driving/terrain modes calibrated by TANK's professional technical team, covering 38 off-road scenarios worldwide.

The TANK 700 Hi4-T introduces an electronic disconnect sway bar system, facilitating rapid coupling/decoupling of stabilizer bars for enhanced off-road performance. Under extreme off-road conditions, the system can add an additional 60mm suspension rebound travel. Moreover, it features an active suspension system, combining air springs with CDC electromagnetic shock absorbers, providing adjustable ride height and suspension firmness for a cloud-like comfort, whether on asphalt or unpaved roads.

Furthermore, the TANK 700 Hi4-T incorporates full-range silent engineering with meticulous NVH optimization, ensuring a whisper-quiet driving experience with minimal noise from key components.

World's First Mass-Produced Sodium-Ion Battery Passenger Vehicle Officially Unveiled
On February 5, Changan Automobile unveiled its global sodium-ion battery strategy, and the world's first mass-produced sodium-ion battery passenger vehicle was officially introduced. Test data shows that the vehicle equipped with CATL's sodium-ion battery delivers nearly three times the discharge power compared to conventional lithium iron phosphate vehicles with the same battery capacity under -30°C conditions. In extreme cold environments of -40°C, it maintains over 90% capacity retention, and it can still discharge stably even at the extreme low temperature of -50°C.
