Great Wall Holdings Group, North China Electric Power University join forces for new energy & hydrogen power development

Beijing (Gasgoo)- During the recent announcement of hydrogen energy industry achievements and the initiation ceremony of a hydrogen energy environmental services project in Baoding city, Hebei Province, Great Wall Holdings Group Limited signed a memorandum of strategic cooperation with North China Electric Power University. 

The collaboration aims to leverage their respective resources and explore new models of university-enterprise cooperation. Together, they plan to cultivate a new mechanism, environment, and cycle for the rapid development of talent in the fields of new energy and hydrogen power, establishing a demonstration integrated base for industry-education collaboration.

According to the agreement, both parties, guided by principles of complementarity, resource sharing, collaborative innovation, and mutual development, will engage in comprehensive strategic cooperation in the New Energy Strategic Research Center, Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Joint Research Center, Hydrogen Key Component Testing Center, Industry-Education Integration Joint Education Center, and intellectual property aspects. The collaboration will cover scientific research, talent development, and the establishment of new R&D institutions in Hebei Province.

This strategic partnership will harness the strengths of Great Wall Holding Group in the new energy and hydrogen industry chain and the academic prowess of North China Electric Power University. The ongoing deepening of university-enterprise cooperation aims to create a new collaborative hub for industry, academia, research, and application, facilitating the profound integration and healthy development of the hydrogen and new energy industry chains, talent chains, innovation chains, and resource chains.
