Beijing (Gasgoo)- Ji Yue, the automotive robot brand jointly supported by Geely and Baidu, has announced that its second production model, the Ji Yue 07, will make its debut at the Auto China 2024 in Beijing and commence deliveries in the second half of the year.

Notably, the Ji Yue 07's voice recognition and intelligent driving features will receive a significant upgrade to the 2.0 large model in the third quarter of 2024, with regular software updates implemented in a monthly basis. Additionally, Ji Yue plans to expand its Point-to-Point Autopilot (PPA) service to over 200 cities nationwide in 2024, enhancing overall travel convenience.

In terms of design, the Ji Yue 07 features a closed front-end design with a Y-shaped headlight set. The sleek coupe design with a sporty liftback body and optimized aerodynamics   showcases a harmonious proportion and smooth contour lines. The elongated taillights, also adopting a Y-shaped design mirroring the front lights, contribute to the vehicle's high recognition factor. Multiple sensors, including cameras and radars, are strategically placed throughout the car, indicating advanced autonomous driving capabilities for the vehicle.

Internally, the Ji Yue 07 boasts a wraparound interior with vibrant ambient lighting. The semi-spoke steering wheel design and a seamless screen contribute to a minimalist and trendy atmosphere, aligning with current market trends. Equipped with intelligent AI pixel headlights, in-car and exterior voice recognition, and featuring the first domestically developed pure visual intelligent driving technology, the Ji Yue 07 aims to provide users with a personalized and expressive interaction with its AI companion, SIMO.

World's First Mass-Produced Sodium-Ion Battery Passenger Vehicle Officially Unveiled
On February 5, Changan Automobile unveiled its global sodium-ion battery strategy, and the world's first mass-produced sodium-ion battery passenger vehicle was officially introduced. Test data shows that the vehicle equipped with CATL's sodium-ion battery delivers nearly three times the discharge power compared to conventional lithium iron phosphate vehicles with the same battery capacity under -30°C conditions. In extreme cold environments of -40°C, it maintains over 90% capacity retention, and it can still discharge stably even at the extreme low temperature of -50°C.
