[Jiangxi plans to build a 35,000 tons/year electronic grade hydrofluoric acid project] On January 29, Huikai Chemical's Huan Chang electronic grade hydrofluoric acid construction project was approved. It is understood that the project uses fluorite powder, sulfuric acid, and concentrated sulfuric acid as raw materials. The fluorite powder is mixed with sulfuric acid after drying, heated in a reaction furnace to produce hydrogen fluoride, then undergoes sulfuric acid washing, condensation, distillation, and dehydration to obtain anhydrous hydrogen fluoride. The anhydrous hydrogen fluoride is oxidized, distilled, and washed with ultra-pure water to obtain electronic grade hydrofluoric acid. After the project is completed and put into operation, it will have the capacity to produce 35,000 tons/year of anhydrous hydrogen fluoride (all of which will be used for the production of electronic grade hydrofluoric acid) and 60,000 tons/year of electronic grade hydrofluoric acid.
