Beijing (Gasgoo)- Suzhou-based intelligent driving solution developer FORVISION successfully raised nearly 100 million yuan in a recent funding round, with primary investments from Oriza PE and SND Financial Holdings.

The funds from this round will be utilized to further propel FORVISION's core technology R&D and advance the mass production application of its intelligent driving products.

Established in June 2017, FORVISION specializes in providing end-to-end intelligent driving solutions, ranging from driver assistance to automated valet parking. The company has amassed significant technological capabilities in modular intelligent driving algorithms, multi-sensor fusion, VSLAM (Visual Simultaneous Localization and Mapping), next-generation sensors, visual ADAS development platforms, and vehicle/parking integration AVP systems.

FORVISION boasts four product lines, including control units, acoustic sensors, optical sensors, and comfortable cabins. Notably, the company is among the few Chinese suppliers capable of developing defogging functions for cameras in the acoustic sensor category. The company’s latest AK2 acoustic sensor technology features multiple encoding perception, camera defogging, in-cabin vital detection, and water immersion detection.

In the third quarter of 2022, FORVISION’s AK2 achieved mass production in China. Its products and services were deployed in approximately 30 production vehicle models from leading domestic automakers such as Geely, Hongqi, BYD, BAIC Group, NIO, GAC Group, VOYAH, and Chery, covering almost all mainstream MCU and SOC platforms.
