Nissan to Begin Producing LFP Batteries for Electric Vehicles in 2026

Nissan plans to produce LFP batteries for electric vehicles and expects to start shipping to emerging markets from the 2026 fiscal year. Nissan is currently developing LFP batteries at its research and development facility in Atsugi, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan.
