The 50MW/100MWh sodium-ion energy storage project by Datang has commenced construction at the Xiongkou Farm in Qianjiang, Hubei. With a total investment of 200 million RMB and spanning an area of 30 acres, this project is the first large-capacity sodium-ion new energy storage demonstration project in China, marking an important milestone in the development of sodium-ion energy storage technology in the country. The project is owned by Datang Hubei Energy Development Co., Ltd., with an installed capacity of 50MW/100MWh.
