SMM data shows pure nickel stocks in Shanghai bonded zone rose from a week ago, standing at 6,000 mt, including 1,970 mt of nickel briquette and 4,030 mt of nickel plate.

As of Friday July 7, copper inventories in the domestic bonded zones decreased 5,600 mt from June 30 to 61,200 mt, according to the latest SMM survey. Inventory in the Guangdong bonded zone dipped 2,500 mt to 9,000 mt, and inventory in the Shanghai bonded zone fell 3,100 mt to 52,200 mt.

As of April 21, port inventories of nickel ore in China stood at 6.72 million wmt, up 169,000 wmt WoW. The total Ni content was 53,000 mt.

As of Monday March 20, SMM copper inventories in major Chinese markets decreased 7,500 mt from last Friday to 218,700 mt, down 43,700 mt from Monday March 13. This is up 22,100 mt from pre-CNY level.

The total inventory of HRC across social warehouses and steel makers in China stood at 10.84 million mt as of March 16, down 443,200 mt or 3.9% from a week ago, a drop of 10.2% on the year.
