Silicon Power Technology's Silicon Carbon Anode Material and Special Adhesive Project for Lithium Batteries to be Put into Production in 2024
Recently, Silicon Power Technology stated on the investor interaction platform that the company has invested 560 million yuan in 2021 to establish a new project for the production of 50,000 tons/year of silicon carbon anode material and special adhesive for lithium batteries (including the construction of a 10,000 tons/year silicon carbon anode material production facility, a 40,000 tons/year special adhesive production base, and a lithium material research and development center). The project has completed all construction work and is currently undergoing equipment installation, with plans to commence production in 2024. Additionally, Silicon Power Technology indicated that the company's silicon carbon anode material can be used in the production of solid-state batteries, while the company's power battery adhesive can be used for sealing, bonding, and thermal conduction in the production process of battery packs.
