LME inventory drops to a three and a half month low, Shanghai tin inventory also falls. Data released by LME shows that overall tin inventory fell last week, with significant reduction in inventory levels yesterday, reaching a new low of 6995 tons in three and a half months. Data from the Shanghai Futures Exchange shows that tin inventory fell last week, with a weekly decrease of 1.42% to 6311 tons as of January 12, remaining relatively high in the past two months.
