Trial Production Phase Begins for 10,000-ton Battery-Grade Lithium Carbonate Project at Zhabuye Salt Lake

Published: Jan 16, 2024 13:26
The 10,000-ton battery-grade lithium carbonate project at Zhabuye Salt Lake has successfully started the trial production phase. Recently, all membrane process sections provided by Beijing's Technology have been successfully put into operation at the pre-concentration salt field of the Zhabuye salt lake, marking the official commencement of the trial production work at the salt field. This project is the first modern large-scale industrial project in the Tibet region and the first project to comprehensively develop and utilize salt lake resources. It is also Beijing's first large-scale lithium extraction project using membrane technology in Tibet, with the project employing the efficient "membrane separation + evaporation crystallization" process to recover lithium and potassium resources from Zhabuye Salt Lake.
