Beijing (Gasgoo)- On January 11, autonomous driving tech firm Nullmax and Black Sesame Technologies signed a deepened cooperation agreement at the CES 2024, aiming to jointly provide high-performance and cost-effective Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) solutions for automakers and Tier1 suppliers worldwide.

Based on their existing strategic cooperation agreement signed in 2021, Nullmax and Black Sesame Technologies leverage their respective strengths in autonomous driving technology. By harnessing software algorithms and chip platform advantages, they have been creating integrated solutions catering to diverse needs, significantly supporting the mass production application of autonomous driving algorithm integration for automotive industry clients. The collaboration has yielded numerous groundbreaking technical achievements by combining Nullmax's software algorithm capabilities with Black Sesame Technologies' chip development prowess.

In this enhanced collaboration, Nullmax will utilize Black Sesame Technologies' Wudang C1200 series high-performance cross-domain computing chips, and offer a Transformer-based high-performance BEV algorithm, collaborating to develop an industry-leading, cost-effective single-chip NOA (Navigate on Autopilot) intelligent driving solution.

This solution will unleash the powerful cross-domain computing capabilities of the C1200 chip series, delivering an ultimate intelligent experience while further reducing the overall cost of vehicle intelligence technologies facilitating the widespread adoption of advanced intelligent driving applications, particularly those represented by NOA.

Having previously developed and mass-produced multiple single-chip autonomous driving solutions, Nullmax's deepened collaboration with Black Sesame Technologies will further enrich the market options for single-chip NOA integrated parking and driving solutions, meeting the automotive industry's mass production demands for advanced intelligent driving.

World's First Mass-Produced Sodium-Ion Battery Passenger Vehicle Officially Unveiled
On February 5, Changan Automobile unveiled its global sodium-ion battery strategy, and the world's first mass-produced sodium-ion battery passenger vehicle was officially introduced. Test data shows that the vehicle equipped with CATL's sodium-ion battery delivers nearly three times the discharge power compared to conventional lithium iron phosphate vehicles with the same battery capacity under -30°C conditions. In extreme cold environments of -40°C, it maintains over 90% capacity retention, and it can still discharge stably even at the extreme low temperature of -50°C.
