【BYD discusses potential transaction with Brazilian lithium producer Sigma】On January 14th, Alexandre Baldy, CEO of BYD Brazil, stated that BYD has engaged in discussions with Brazilian lithium company Sigma regarding a potential supply agreement, joint venture, or acquisition with the goal of establishing an integrated supply chain. He revealed that a representative from BYD met with Sigma's CEO Ana Cabral Gardner last month in São Paulo, but declined to provide further details citing a confidentiality agreement.
