IKEA Technology plans to invest 1 billion yuan in HJT/perovskite tandem solar cells. On February 29, IKEA Technology (002610.SZ) announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Zhejiang IKEA Future Technology Co., Ltd., signed a framework agreement with the Management Committee of Hangzhou Qianjiang Economic Development Zone. Zhejiang IKEA Future plans to invest in the construction of HJT (heterojunction) perovskite tandem solar cell research and production base project in Hangzhou Qianjiang Economic Development Zone.

It is reported that the project will be built in three phases. The first phase of the laboratory project is planned to invest approximately 150 million yuan, with a leased space of about 3,000 square meters, to build an HJT perovskite tandem solar cell production and research laboratory base to meet IKEA Technology's HJT perovskite tandem solar cell production research and development needs.

The second phase pilot line project is planned to invest approximately 250 million yuan, and the first mass production line project in the third phase is planned to invest approximately 600 million yuan.
