Beijing (Gasgoo)- On January 1, 2024, Dongfeng Motor's premium new energy vehicle brand, VOYAH, disclosed its December 2023 delivery results, marking a momentous accomplishment with 10,017 units delivered, signifying a staggering 479% year-on-year soar.

This stellar performance capped off a remarkable year, propelling VOYAH's annual delivery volume for 2023 to 50,552 units, which shot up 160% from a year ago.

Surpassing the 10,000-unit monthly delivery target in December was a key goal for VOYAH, as stated by company officials.

VOYAH's current lineup comprises three models, the VOYAH FREE, the VOYAH DREAM, and the VOYAH Zhuiguang, spanning SUV, MPV, and sedan segments. The introduction of the 2024 refreshed VOYAH FREE in August, positioned as a "smart, spacious five-seater SUV," significantly contributed to the sales surge upon its delivery commencement on August 25. Subsequently, the launch of the 2024 VOYAH DREAM on October 12 amassed over 18,000 orders within 18 days.

In a landmark move, VOYAH's first plug-in hybrid electric vehicle, the Zhuiguang PHEV, initiated pre-sales at the Auto Guangzhou 2023 on November 17 last year, registering an astonishing 10,000 orders in a mere 5 hours and 11 minutes. The vehicle officially hit the market on December 5 during the VOYAH Tech Day.

VOYAH expanded its domestic footprint in December, adding six fully equipped user centers in six cities. With 268 VOYAH Spaces and user centers domestically and 14 VOYAH Spaces globally, spanning a total of 108 cities worldwide, VOYAH has ventured into overseas markets like Norway, Finland, and Denmark, cementing its global presence.

World's First Mass-Produced Sodium-Ion Battery Passenger Vehicle Officially Unveiled
On February 5, Changan Automobile unveiled its global sodium-ion battery strategy, and the world's first mass-produced sodium-ion battery passenger vehicle was officially introduced. Test data shows that the vehicle equipped with CATL's sodium-ion battery delivers nearly three times the discharge power compared to conventional lithium iron phosphate vehicles with the same battery capacity under -30°C conditions. In extreme cold environments of -40°C, it maintains over 90% capacity retention, and it can still discharge stably even at the extreme low temperature of -50°C.
