Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Geely Automobile Holdings Limited ("the Company", together with its subsidiaries, the "Group"), announced that the Group's whole-year vehicle sales reached 1,686,516 vehicles in 2023, growing 18% from the previous year.

As for the monthly performance for December 2023, the Group sold 150,453 vehicles in the month, representing a 3% year-on-year growth.

Of the vehicles sold last year, 487,461 units (+48.29% YoY) were contributed by new energy vehicles (NEVs), including 334,598 battery electric vehicles (BEVs) and 152,863 plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs). In December alone, the Group sold 60,447 NEVs (composed of 34,156 BEVs and 26,291 PHEVs), reflecting a year-on-year jump of 35.68%.

In addition, the Group's export volume in December rose 9% over a year ago to 21,347 units, resulting in a whole-year volume of 274,101 units, which jumped 38% from the previous year.

Breaking down the December sales performance by specific brands, there were 107,382 vehicles under the Geely brand sold last month, indicating a 6% year-on-year increase. Of those, 12,088 units were from the Galaxy NEV range.

ZEEKR, the brand dedicated to premium electric vehicles, recorded a sales volume of 13,476 vehicles in December, showing a 19% growth year-over-year. Lynk & Co saw its December sales increased by 17% from the year-ago period to 25,695 units. However, Livan Auto, the brand co-owned by Lifan Technology, faced a 66% year-on-year plunge with 3,900 vehicles sold last month.
