China Enfi Engineering Technology Co., Ltd. has signed a general contracting agreement with Xinjiang Kunlun Zinc Industry Co., Ltd. for the Xinjiang Huoshaoyun Lead-Zinc Mine's 600,000 tons/year lead-zinc smelting project. Once completed, this project will become the world's largest annual production of lead-zinc oxide ore smelting project. The ore material for the Xinjiang Huoshaoyun lead-zinc smelting project is from the Xinjiang Huoshaoyun lead-zinc mine, which is the largest in China and the sixth largest in the world. It processes 2.5 million tons of lead-zinc oxide ore annually and will establish a production base for lead-zinc smelting in Hotan, Xinjiang, with an annual production of 560,000 tons of zinc ingots and 110,000 tons of lead ingots.
