China Construction Third Bureau Wins Bid for $1.5 Billion Lithium-ion Battery Project in Malaysia

China Construction Third Bureau recently won the bid for the first phase of the high-performance lithium-ion battery diaphragm project of ENOVE in Malaysia, with a total investment of 6.4 billion ringgit, to be constructed in two phases. The project is located in the Bayan Lepas Technology Park in Penang, Malaysia, covering an area of over 66 acres, with a total construction area of over 200,000 square meters. It is planned to produce 4 billion square meters of lithium electronic battery wet diaphragm and coated diaphragm annually. This project is the largest lithium battery diaphragm supply base in Southeast Asia, and the first wet diaphragm and coated diaphragm factory for lithium-ion batteries in the ASEAN region. Shenzhen Xingyuan Material Technology Co., Ltd. plans to invest in a lithium battery diaphragm production base in Penang State, Malaysia through its subsidiary ENOVE, to promote the development of Malaysia's new energy industry and strengthen the new energy industry chain in the ASEAN region.
