Tianshan Aluminum's 200,000-ton battery aluminum foil new project has successfully put the first batch of foil rolling mills into operation. Recently, Tianshan Aluminum has made significant progress in the new 200,000-ton battery aluminum foil production line at its Jiangyin factory, with the successful operation of the first 8 foil rolling mills. The related equipment for Tianshan Aluminum's 200,000-ton battery aluminum foil new project has been installed and commissioned since the first quarter of this year. In addition to the 8 foil rolling mills that have been put into operation, another 8 foil rolling mills are in the final stages of installation. It is expected that by the first quarter of 2024, the project will have a configuration of 16 foil rolling mills, with an annual production capacity of over 150,000 tons. Furthermore, the 3 foil rolling mills for the 20,000-ton technical transformation project at the Jiangyin factory were officially put into operation in July this year. The company's battery aluminum foil blank project, which is also located in the Jiangyin factory and is being constructed in Xinjiang's Shihezi, is progressing as planned and will achieve complete self-sufficiency in blank materials in the future. Fed to Keep Large Banks' Capital Levels Unchanged, Postpones Stress Test Reforms Until 2027
The US Fed has announced that it will maintain the capital levels of large banks unchanged during the upcoming stress test cycle (corresponding to the 2026 cycle). At the same time, the US Fed is planning multidimensional reforms to this annual test, aiming to enhance its transparency. The US Fed's Vice Chair for Supervision, Bowman, revealed that adjustments to the stress capital buffer requirements for large banks will be postponed until 2027. This move is intended to provide the US Fed with sufficient time to evaluate potential flaws that may be exposed in its testing models when assessing banks' financial conditions under simulated economic downturn scenarios.
