According to the research of Guangfa Futures, the tin production will increase by about 8,000 tons next year. Among them, the new capacity will contribute to a production increase of about 18,000 tons next year, but considering the issues of declining grade in Indonesian and Malaysian mines and slow resumption of work in Myanmar in the first quarter, it is estimated that the reduction in tin production will be about 10,000 tons. On the demand side, it is estimated that the consumption in 2024 will be 385,300 tons, an increase of 3.04% year-on-year, with domestic demand outperforming overseas. Traditional demands such as tin chemicals and microelectronic materials will remain stable, with the main increase coming from the recovery of the semiconductor industry and the growth in demand for photovoltaic solder strips.
