SMM Morning Comments: The Import of Tin Ore in China Increased in November, and it is Expected that there will be little increase in December. Customs data released this week showed that the import of tin ore in China in November was 27,800 tons, an increase of 10.17% month-on-month and 4.97% year-on-year. Although there is a certain degree of growth compared to October, about 80% of the dressing plants in Wa State, Myanmar, stopped production at the end of November due to ore inventory issues. Although the local authorities in Wa State, Myanmar, did not specify when the local tin ore will resume production, the market generally expects it to be difficult to recover before February next year. It is expected that the import of tin ore from Myanmar may not have much increase in the future, as there has been a certain degree of decrease in the import of tin ore from Myanmar and it is also expected to be difficult to have significant growth later on...
