






On December 12, Lithium Ionic reported “the widest and highest-grade lithium intercept to date” at the Bandeira project in Minas Gerais, Brazil. The drill hole ITDD-23-221 intersected 1.72% Li2O over 53.7 meters, including 1.87% Li2O over 39.5 meters. The Bandeira project has a mineral resource estimate of 13.72Mt grading 1.40% Li2O (474,892t LCE) in the Measured and Indicated category.
Multiple moves have been made recently by Lithium Ionic. The company also reported high-grade lithium intercepts at its Salinas projects. Additionally, mining veteran Paulo Guimarães Misk was appointed as Chief Operating Officer to advance the Bandeira project. A technical report for the Preliminary Economic Assessment of the Bandeira Lithium Project was filed. The company is advancing Bandeira toward a production decision, and a Feasibility Study for the project is expected to be completed in early 2024.
