LME lead inventory dropped to a new low of over one month, while Shanghai lead inventory refreshed a near four-month low. LME data shows that lead inventory increased to a near six-year high of 144,450 tons on November 29, and then overall inventory fell. Last week, inventory continued to decline, with the latest inventory level at 128,900 tons, hitting a new low of over a month. Data released by the Shanghai Futures Exchange shows that in the week of December 8, Shanghai lead inventory fell significantly, with weekly inventory decreasing by 26.01% to 49,913 tons, hitting a new low of nearly four months.
