Beijing (Gasgoo)- BAIC Group and China Mobile Group Beijing Co., Ltd. (Beijing Mobile) signed a strategic cooperation agreement on December 7 in areas such as cloud-based new infrastructure services and enterprise digitalization.

With the ongoing expansion of 5G applications, the realm of intelligent connected vehicles and its associated industries is flourishing. Beijing Mobile is at the forefront of this evolution, continually expanding innovative digital services, including digital media content and comprehensive information solutions. 

As the industry dynamics shift, BAIC Group is focusing on intelligent connected technologies, actively positioning itself in crucial areas to drive the next generation of smart automotive products.

BAIC Group and Beijing Mobile have maintained a longstanding cooperative relationship. Moving forward, they plan to deepen collaboration in areas such as cloud-based new infrastructure services and enterprise digital services. Together, they aim to explore novel business models emerging from the integration of new energy and intelligent connected vehicle technologies, contributing significantly to the establishment of a new "vehicle-energy-road-cloud" intelligent mobility ecosystem.

On February 5, Changan Automobile unveiled its global sodium-ion battery strategy, and the world's first mass-produced sodium-ion battery passenger vehicle was officially introduced. Test data shows that the vehicle equipped with CATL's sodium-ion battery delivers nearly three times the discharge power compared to conventional lithium iron phosphate vehicles with the same battery capacity under -30°C conditions. In extreme cold environments of -40°C, it maintains over 90% capacity retention, and it can still discharge stably even at the extreme low temperature of -50°C.
