The Ministry of Ecology and Environment will carry out a pilot project to optimize the cross-provincial transfer management of waste lead-acid batteries. On November 28, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment issued a notice on the pilot project for optimizing the cross-provincial transfer management of waste lead-acid batteries. From now until December 31, 2025, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment will carry out the pilot work for optimizing the cross-provincial transfer management of waste lead-acid batteries nationwide. The notice specifies that a group of recycling lead enterprises with high environmental management level, complete pollution prevention and control facilities, and a certain scale of operations will be selected as the pilot units for optimizing the cross-provincial transfer management of waste lead-acid batteries nationwide.
