China Construction Eighth Bureau has recently officially put into operation the lithium-ion battery manufacturing base and research and development center project of Guangzhou Rong Jie Energy Technology Co., Ltd. The project is located in Wanqingsha Town, Nansha District, Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province, with a total land area of 168,000 square meters and a total construction area of 350,000 square meters. This is a key project in Guangdong Province and an important measure to implement the "Nansha Plan".

The project adopts international automated equipment, including high-speed double-layer extrusion coating machine, roll-press and pre-slitting machine, fully automatic winding machine, and fully automatic PACK line. These equipment can meet the process production requirements of different types of battery cells. The produced lithium batteries have better consistency and safety and can be widely used in household, commercial, and power station energy storage scenarios. The project plans to produce energy storage and power lithium-ion batteries, with an annual capacity of 35GWh and an annual output value of approximately 35 billion yuan, while driving employment for more than 3,000 people.
