Today, Dalian iron ore futures exhibited a predominantly sideways, oscillating trend. The most-traded I2605 contract closed at 752 RMB per tonne, representing a marginal increase of 0.04% from the previous trading session. In the physical market, spot prices rose by 0-2 RMB from the prior day.

[SMM HRC Daily Trading] Futures Moved in a Narrow Range; Spot Trading Volume Increased

[SMM HRC Daily Trading] On March 4, the total daily HRC trading volume of sampled enterprises in four SMM cities (Shanghai, Lecong, Tianjin, and Ningbo) was 10,560 mt, up 920 mt (+9.5%) MoM. On a calendar YoY basis, it was down 22.92%, while on a lunar-calendar YoY basis, it was up 9.20%.
