According to the official WeChat account of State Power Investment Corporation's aluminum power company, in mid-November, the Yunnan Yunnan 100MW photovoltaic project in Yuanjiang County has started construction.

The project is located in the vicinity of Hengshan Village, Wadie Township, Yuanjiang County, Yuxi City, Yunnan Province, and is being constructed by Green Energy. Once completed, the project is expected to provide the grid with 166.27 million kWh of clean energy annually, saving about 50,700 tons of standard coal, reducing carbon dioxide emissions by about 138.9 thousand tons, reducing atmospheric dust emissions by about 5.32 tons, sulfur dioxide emissions by about 26.6 tons, and nitrogen oxides emissions by about 29.76 tons annually.

This project not only provides an effective supplement to the local energy supply, but also helps alleviate the environmental protection pressure of the power industry, promotes sustainable economic development in the region, and is of great significance in driving the growth of the emerging energy industry chain in Yuanjiang and promoting the transformation and upgrading of local industries.
