The Shanghai Futures Exchange: Implementing Trading Limits on Futures Varieties such as rebar, fuel oil, silver, hot-rolled coil, aluminum, and zinc
The Shanghai Futures Exchange (SHFE) has released a notice stating that starting from December 1, 2023 (including the evening continuous trading on November 30), trading limits will be implemented on futures varieties such as rebar, fuel oil, silver, hot-rolled coil, pulp, natural rubber, aluminum, and zinc. Non-futures company members and clients will have a maximum limit on the number of opening transactions for the above-mentioned varieties on a daily basis. The maximum number of opening transactions for accounts under actual control relationships will be executed on a per-client basis. Hedging transactions and market-making transactions are not subject to this restriction.
