On November 25, the China Power Construction Shihhot 300,000-kilowatt photovoltaic power generation project achieved full-capacity grid-connected power generation at the 1-million-kilowatt photovoltaic base project in Shihezi, northern Xinjiang, becoming the first full-capacity grid-connected power generation project in the base project, and also the first large base project in Xinjiang to achieve full-capacity grid connection investment and development by the China Power New Energy Company.
The project is located in the 142nd Regiment of the 8th Division in Shihezi, with a newly built 19.5-kilometer 220-kilovolt outgoing line and supporting construction of 45 megawatts/90 megawatt-hours of energy storage. The average annual on-grid electricity generation during the 25-year operation period is 580.174 million kilowatt-hours, with an average annual utilization hours of 1450.04 hours.
