"On November 25th, China Power Construction Corporation (PowerChina) connected the full capacity of its largest single-unit photovoltaic (PV) and energy storage project under construction in Fukang City, Xinjiang, with a capacity of 600,000 kilowatts of PV and 600,000 kilowatt-hours of energy storage, adding new impetus to the 'green' future. It is understood that the 600,000 kilowatts PV plus 600,000 kilowatt-hours energy storage project in Fukang City is the second batch of market-based grid-connected new energy projects in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region in 2022, and it is also the first project of PowerChina Group to enter the conceptual planning of the 1 billion kilowatt PV industry development in Fukang City."
