Sinopec (Hong Kong) Limited held a groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of a hydrogen refueling station in the New Territories of Hong Kong, marking a significant step towards the commercialization of hydrogen energy in the Hong Kong market. The refueling station at Au Tau will guarantee hydrogen supply through three methods: cross-border transportation of hydrogen energy in the Greater Bay Area, on-site hydrogen production, and hydrogen production using photovoltaic green electricity. In the initial phase, hydrogen supply will be provided by Sinopec Guangzhou, with 385 kilograms of hydrogen transported to the station by cylinder vehicle, and possessing the qualifications for transporting dangerous goods between Guangdong and Hong Kong.
