Cost reduction pressure from downstream and inventory build-up to weigh down PV glass prices in December

As of November 17, the mainstream price for 3.2mm PV glass was 26.5 to 27.5 yuan/sqm (average 27.0 yuan/sqm) and for 2.0mm PV glass was 17.5 to 18.5 yuan/sqm (average 18.0 yuan/sqm).
SMM forecasts that as the end of November nears and procurement orders are about to be signed, PV module companies will continue to drive down glass prices. Concurrently, glass companies' inventory is building up in November, and PV module production is expected to decrease in December, potentially leading to decline in glass prices.
