As of November 16, rebar inventory continued to shrank last week, with rebar stocks falling by 3.85% WoW. In the future, as improved profits will fuel steel mills’ high enthusiasm for production, supply is still expected to increase in a short term, while demand may weaken in a slack season amid weather fallout. To sum up, players will need to be wary of excessive growth in production, which may increase likelihood of inventory build-up.
