Summary of SMM Steel Morning Meeting: The first round of price increase of coking coal is expected to land soon. The trading of domestic coking coal in Liaoxi is stagnant, and the local iron ore resources are still tight, and the sentiment of ore selection is relatively strong. Considering that the price of iron ore futures has been volatile recently, relevant departments of the state said that they will strengthen the supervision of iron ore, and the price of iron ore futures has dropped significantly. On the demand side, steel mills control low inventory and have no intention to adjust the purchase price. Most of the material yards have narrow operating space and are mainly in a wait-and-see state. Generally speaking, the market mentality is obvious, but considering the recent increase, it is expected that the price of iron ore will fall slightly in the near future.
