【SMM News】 Inner Mongolia Biaoda New Material Technology Development Co., Ltd. has officially put into production the first domestic production line of hot-dip galvanized aluminum-magnesium strip with a thickness of up to 6mm. The first phase of the continuous hot-dip galvanized aluminum-magnesium production line is 320 meters long and has a total investment of 200 million yuan. It can produce 350,000 tons per year. It can currently achieve stable operation and can produce 0.8mm to 6mm high-specification hot-dip galvanized aluminum-magnesium strip with a coating composition of up to 3% magnesium content. The product can greatly meet the requirements of high-speed highway guardrails and photovoltaic bracket thick specifications, filling the industry gap. According to the plan, Biaoda New Material will build a 1.1 million ton hot-dip galvanized aluminum-magnesium production line in Baotou in three phases. After the first phase is put into production, the second and third phases will be launched in succession.
