SMM Research: Lead Price Running Center of Gravity Downward, Renewable Lead Smelting Plant Production Enthusiasm Reduced | Attached 10-11 Months China Renewable Lead Enterprise Maintenance Details and Production Recovery Plan Table" SMM November 09 News: In October, lead prices ran at high levels, with the SHFE 2312 contract rising to a high of 17825 yuan/ton; smelting plant production enthusiasm was high, scrap battery demand was large, and supply patterns were obviously tight; but due to general downstream consumption, lead battery production enterprises were not highly enthusiastic in purchasing lead ingots, leading to the accumulation of lead ingot social stocks, dragging lead prices down. Entering November, the center of gravity of lead prices has shifted downward... From the above table, it can be seen that the output increase in October is still relatively large, and the output in November may have decreased. According to SMM research, the price of scrap batteries has been rising continuously...
