The China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing today released the Global Manufacturing Purchasing Managers Index for October.

The China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing released the Global Manufacturing Purchasing Managers Index for October. The index remained in the contraction zone, and the global manufacturing industry has shown a volatile downward trend. The global manufacturing purchasing managers' index in October was 47.8%, down 0.9 percentage points from the previous month, ending the three consecutive months of month-on-month upward trend. The PMI has stayed below 50% for 13 consecutive months.
