Recently, the 20 million kW/80 million kWh supporting energy storage and 80 million kW market-oriented grid-connected photovoltaic power generation project and the 2 million kW integrated photovoltaic storage project of the Yue Water and Electricity Investment and Development in Bachu County, Xinjiang, with a total of 400,000 kW, have all been successfully grid-connected. The project is located in the northwest margin of the Tarim Basin in southern Xinjiang, with an average daily sunshine hours of more than 2740 hours, which is a region with abundant solar energy resources in the country. It covers an area of about 25,900 mu, with a total of 2.05 million photovoltaic panels, composed of 256 3.125 MW photovoltaic arrays, and a 220 kV Yue Water and Electricity Qiedi Photovoltaic Collection Station is built for supporting. It can add about 1.71 billion kWh of "green electricity" annually, save about 684,500 tons of standard coal and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by about 1.706 million tons.
