According to S&P Global Market Intelligence's statistics on 2235 mining companies, the global non-ferrous metal exploration budget in 2023 will decrease by 3% from 13.1 billion US dollars in 2022 to 12.8 billion US dollars. Different mineral exploration trends are differentiated. The gold exploration budget is 5.9 billion US dollars, the lowest in three years, a decrease of 1.1 billion US dollars. Exploration budgets for copper, lithium and nickel related to clean energy and electrification have increased significantly. Especially lithium, its exploration budget reached 829.6 million US dollars, an increase of 78% over the previous year, ranking third among all minerals. (Gold Ten Data APP)
