China’s alumina imports in September were 191,400 mt, a year-on-year decrease of 23.06% and a month-onmonth decrease of 23.58%.

China’s alumina imports in September were 191,400 mt, a year-on-year decrease of 23.06% and a month-on-month decrease of 23.58%. The cumulative imports from January to September 2023 were 1.3306 million mt, a yearon-year decrease of 8%. Alumina export volume in September 2023 was 86,300 mt, a year-on-year decrease of 0.42% and a month-on-month decrease of 41.09%. From January to September 2023, the cumulative export volume was 931,000 mt, a year-on-year increase of 16%.
