Recently, the Notice on Further Regulating the Relevant Regulations on the Development and Construction of New Energy Projects in Shaoyang City, Hunan Province issued by the People's Government of Shaoyang City pointed out that after the pre-construction procedures of wind power and centralized photovoltaic projects are complete, the development enterprises should reverse the construction period according to the full capacity and grid-connected time as soon as possible. If it is not grid-connected according to the stipulated time, according to the requirements of the Provincial Development and Reform Commission, the online settlement electricity price will be permanently reduced by 0.01 yuan/kilowatt-hour for each overdue month. For projects that are still not grid-connected after 12 months of delay, the development and construction plan will be adjusted out, and the development enterprise will be included in the list of dishonest enterprises and will not be allowed to participate in the declaration of wind power and photovoltaic power generation projects within two years after the adjustment of the construction plan.

India’s Industrial Growth Slows to 6.7% in July, but Steel Demand Remains Supported

India’s industrial activity continued to grow in July 2026, with the Index of Industrial Production (IIP) rising 6.7% YoY, compared with 8.8% in June. Although growth slowed, July recorded the second-highest IIP growth since December 2025, showing that industrial activity remained relatively strong.
