Weekly Review of Rebar and Wire Rod Inventory

SHANGHAI, Oct 8(SMM) –

The total inventory of rebar this week was 6.6413 million mt, a WoW increase of 8.70% compared with 531,700 mt last week, up 5.65% YoY.

The social inventory of rebar this week was 4.5339 million mt, a WoW increase of 4.72% compared with 204,400 mt last week, up 9.33% YoY.

The in-factory inventory of rebar this week was 2.1074 million mt, a WoW increase of 18.39% compared with 327,400 mt last week, down 1.50% YoY.

The total inventory of wire rods this week was 1.6345 million mt, a WoW increase of 7.59% compared with 115,300 mt last week, down 22.50% YoY.

The social inventory of wire rods this week was 747,000 mt, a WoW increase of 3.83% compared with 27,600 mt last week, down 33.61% YoY.

The in-factory inventory of rebar this week was 887,500 mt, a WoW increase of 10.97% compared with 87,700 mt last week, down 9.79% YoY.
