Data from the China Passenger Car Association (CPCA) shows that from September 1 to 24, 508,000 new energy vehicles (NEVs) were sold, a year-on-year increase of 33% and a month-on-month increase of 11%. Since the beginning of this year, a total of 4.951 million NEVs have been sold, up 36% YoY. Passenger car manufacturers across the country have wholesaled 595,000 NEVs, a year-on-year increase of 40% and a year-on-year increase of 17%. Since the beginning of this year, a total of 5.675 million NEVs have been wholesaled, a year-on-year increase of 39%.
