On September 28, Shanghai Electric Power released the "Announcement on the Progress of Shanghai Electric Power Co., Ltd. for the Acquisition of the Black Peak Wind Power Project in Serbia". According to the announcement, recently, Shanghai Electric Power Energy Development (Hong Kong) Co., Ltd. has completed the signing of the equity transfer agreement for the Serbian Black Peak Wind Power Project. The project is expected to start in the fourth quarter of 2023 and achieve commercial operation in 2025. After commissioning, the annual power generation is expected to be about 480 million kilowatt-hours.

India’s Industrial Growth Slows to 6.7% in July, but Steel Demand Remains Supported

India’s industrial activity continued to grow in July 2026, with the Index of Industrial Production (IIP) rising 6.7% YoY, compared with 8.8% in June. Although growth slowed, July recorded the second-highest IIP growth since December 2025, showing that industrial activity remained relatively strong.
