SHANGHAI, Sep 27 (SMM) – Electrolyte prices fell slightly this week. Demand for electrolyte from battery cells is showing a weakening trend, with purchases mainly based on essential needs. Electrolyte manufacturers schedule production based on sales, and supply is sufficient. On the cost side, the price of lithium hexafluorophosphate, which is the core raw material for electrolyte, went down along with falling prices of raw materials (lithium carbonate and lithium fluoride), while those of solvents and additives were generally stable. The cost of electrolyte dropped slightly. It is expected that electrolyte prices will still fall slightly in the future.
