Guangdong Zinc Market: Zinc Traded With Discounts Against Front Month Contract

#0 zinc in Guangdong was traded at 21725~21830 yuan/mt today. Mainstream brands were quoted with premiums of 240~250 yuan/mt over SHFE 2311 zinc contract, with discounts of 230 yuan/mt against Shanghai prices.

In the first trading session, Qilin, Huize and Mengzi zinc was quoted with discounts of 20 yuan/mt. Traders sold with discounts against the front-month contract.

In the second trading period, Qilin and Mengzi zinc were offered with premiums of 240~250 yuan/mt. As the festival approaches, downstream stockpiles have almost been completed, and the spot trading was poor.
