Ningbo Zinc: Sellers Raised Prices, Trading Was Brisk

In Ningbo market, #0 zinc was traded at 22100-22435 yuan/mt. The spot prices of regular brand were quoted with premiums of 140~150 yuan/mt over the 2310 contract, and with discounts of 50 yuan/mt over the prices in the Shanghai market.

In Ningbo market, #0 zinc was traded at 22100-22435 yuan/mt. The spot prices of regular brand were quoted with premiums of 140~150 yuan/mt over the 2310 contract, and with discounts of 50 yuan/mt over the prices in the Shanghai market.

Mainstream quotes in Ningbo market were generally against the 2310 contract. In the first trading session, Tiefeng zinc was quoted with premiums of 170~180 yuan/mt over the SHFE 2310 zinc contract.

Sellers held their prices firm on the low spot supply and falling futures prices. In the second trading session, the spot premiums were basically the same as in the first trading session. The actual trading volume was limited.
