CAAM: China’s Cumulative Import And Export Of Automobile Products Increased By 14.5% Yoy From January To August

According to data from the General Administration of Customs sorted out by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM), in August 2023, the total import and export volume of automobile products increased by 0.2% MoM and 7.9% YoY.

According to data from the General Administration of Customs sorted out by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM), in August 2023, the total import and export volume of automobile products increased by 0.2% MoM and 7.9% YoY. Among them, the import value went up 7.2% MoM and down 8.4% YoY, and the export value dropped by 2.3% MoM and added 15.8% YoY. From January to August 2023, China’s cumulative import and export of automobile products rose by 14.5% on a yearly basis, among which, the import value and the export value gained 19.5% and 35.1% YoY, respectively.
