The zinc ingot social inventories across seven major markets in China totalled 91,400 mt as of Monday September 25, down 3,000 mt from a week earlier and up 8,900 mt from last Monday. Inventory fell during the week, mainly due to pre-holiday stockpiling in Shanghai, Guangdong and other regions.
In Tianjin, the inventory decline was mainly due to the less arrivals of brands such as Bazi and Hongye over the weekend and the goods sent directly to downstream buyers. The inventory in the original three places dropped by 2,500 mt.
